                          Wahoo way to go bro
That looks kickass & about as squirrley as one of the alligator tours boats. What kind of camera were you shooting with ?, it likes glare as much as the cam in my phone does .

Do you know sirislash (Shawn) ?. He's in your neck of the woods too (B.C) ?.

We were using our iphones to capture these videos. Maybe time for us to get a mobius?

I met Sirislash on the forums and we had the intentions of doing a meet and greet with the other locals. For some reason it never happened but thanks to him I have this nice watering hole to run our rc's in!

Now that I know the concept airboat works I can now do the decals and dial in the rates. I think I might benefit by adjusting the cg rearwards slightly. I will be looking at the data logging to view the running temps of the esc and current draw. I have also been considering the idea of modifying the rudder to include an air rudder behind the thrust cone. More to come.

Could you possibly make the thrust cone steerable? Like thrust vectoring?

Really anything is possible with enough resources. I would imagine a flexible cone or something.
What I like about this boat is it's simplicity. It requires very little maintenance. No greasing of prop shafts or prop sharpening. Only one servo. Truly plug and play operation.
