    Very nice looking build.

If your looking for 80 mph or anything near that, I would definitely recommend going with the 2 part foam. I've done it to a few of my boats and they are rock solid now with very little added weight.

I've never had any sort of warping when using 2 part foam either, if your worried about that or overfilling, just pour a little bit at a time.

I run my RC boats off of the back of my 21' Yamaha jumping wake at 50-60mph landing very hard all time. Without the 2 part foam inside, my hauls would have been long gone after a few jumps.

      Thanks mate :)
Yeah the more I look into it the more I relize that it is a hell of a lot of weight smashing against the water with very little cf. Just gotta wait for my wrist to get better again and I will start it again

Ya, imagine picking your boat up and slamming it onto the water upside down, but at 60+ mph....... It's crazy they hold up at all

TPPOWER is sending me a new shaft free of charge and is changing their website so people have to option to choose. Was really impressed with their response.
          Now that is awesome!

TP is great to deal with and fixes there mistakes. Get that wrist better and start back into work slow!

                Update with TPPOWER FFS
                Dear Todd,

Sorry for the inconvenience. Because our factory currently are redesigning the 5850 series and the rotors with shafts are ran out of stock, the lead time to get another such motor will be very long (about 2 months). In this case, could you send the motor and water cooling jacket back if it is not for your application? We will refund you the full payment plus the shipping.

                Thanks,
                Junlin

Another follow up email which is way too long basically said we will give you 10% if I machine the shaft myself. Ugh dunno what to do

                Thanks fella :)

This flat spot issue is not a big deal, its takes very little to keep the set screws in place. File or Dremel would be sufficient.

If you use an MBP collet, it does not need a flat......

Just tell them you'll take the 10% and put that toward an MBP collet. If not, just file the flat on there. I've done this many times before.

Good to see you got something out of their mistake. Leaving it untouched and using the mbp collet sounds like a good solution. I wouldn't want to grind my own or file my own flat without tp being aware. If you had a problem with your motor it may have voided any warranty. No matter what you do your covered!

Yeah I actually stated that If I grind this flat it will by no means void my warranty of any sort. They are yet to reply to my email lol.... I have no worries that its an easy thing to do, But I don't want something they should have done/asked to do in the first place to affect my warrant on a dud motor

So I thought id do some work on it today, Only to find out I was sent the a 1/4 collet and spare insert instead of a 3/16. I have emailed Kintec but they are known to not reply to emails. Any other way I can contact them?
                              Cheers
