Who cares if it will peel?!
If it looks this good, I won't mind if it peels, just another application. That CF makes the hull look even more purposeful. Where did you get the CF decal? I saw some in an auto store.
Seriously, that Speed Master strut looks gorgeous mated to the new stuffing tube. They really compliment each other.

looks cool, and I've thought about putting that on the roof of my 540i

I grabbed the stuff at an auto parts store. It actually has some texture to it so it looks pretty cool. I trimmed it out with some black pinstripe, cause its just impossible to get a perfectly straight cut with scissors.
I have about 5ft left so I'm gonna wrap some parts of my car with it. I'll post some pics of that too -)

I guess if it peels I'll just go to paint, but if I leave it out in the hot sun for a day it should be stuck pretty well.

Seal the edges with some ca or epoxy and it will help it stay on the bottom, otherwise yes it will peel.

yeah the stuff actually goes on really easy. it spreads with like, no bubbles, and a small amount of heat you can wrap it right around curves. now im looking at what else i can wrap lol. it kinda creates a monster….
the stuff i bought comes in a 6"x6' roll, but there are much wider rolls. im not sure if its this particular brand, i wasnt paying attention, but i got the stuff at auto zone.
