A stronger DF 33 Rudder Bracket

After bending and twisting my super cool rudder bracket [ Legg Lake invisible monsters, trippin' & flippin'], and my last fun race with a very competetive gasser
[ I was just spankin' him all over the course ] the old bracket gave up its strength [ pic #1] & got twisted real bad. New bracket, made of aluminum angle should do it. Note brass shear bolt. See next posts, file too large for multiple upload

Did you trim the rudder up some?
i cant tell by the pics

Heath, the bracket measures @ 84 mm from the stern . I had to buy an $ 18.00
36" piece of aluminum angle stock to get that little piece ! Also, took @ 6 hours of time to "get it right"

Yup, it's the .21 Nitro rudder trimmed up @ 3/8 " or so.

Aw shucks, guys !! Heath, I could send you a cut piece in the shape of mine; you'd want to drill the holes yourself for mating it with the transom bracket & the rudder yourself to assure alignment of the holes. In trade, you could convince David Kingston to offer me for sale some of his trick tunnel stuff.
