Drilling out the couplers is a bad idea unless you have a lathe or mill to true things up exaclty...... A few thou too many out and you will tear things up.
If you need couplers look up jeff wolt at rumrunners he seems to be the guy for that. After all that work it isnt worth going cheap at a vital point in the driveline just my 2c Dave oh by the way the build looks great

Mich there are 2 differnet designs ive seen his and yours. His doesnt have the rear scoops and urs does. For all those who dont know what im talking about here is a pic.Failure is the First step to SUCCESS

Im pretty sure its a knock off still looks good though =).
The couplers are very custom in the drives, there not wire/flex its a linkage almost like a straight shaft link. So i dont believe any one can make these but maybe someone can drill them out for me ? =) =) haha.Current project 45" aeromarine xXx twins.
