    H&M Micro-Drifter......

I just put together a Micro Drifter Cat!!!!

    I had Steven at OSE, to order me a Neu 1112/2.5D (2900KV).... I am using a CC barr80 esc, and 2x 3S 1500mAh 25C lipos in parallel.....I am going to start with a X432 prop.... I used .130-1/8 f/shaft, octura hardware, and a HS-81MG servo....

I will try to get some video this weekend!! Should be a fun little toy!!

I also have one that runs on old school technology. It was my second build and it remains one of my favourites. Yours, should be a rocket.....watch out for the turns.

What set-up do you run Douggie?

I might go down to 2x 2S packs in parallel for sport running... I am sure I will be doing some "Airborne" runs on the 3S packs!!

[QUOTE=Doby;35088]How long before you sell this one QUOTE]

                    You are fun guy!!! HAHAHA....

I have a collection I wont sell, the Micro-Drifter is now 1 of the fleet...The others are just for the fun of playing around!!

I ran it for the first time today, nice calm water, it was a total BLAST!! This is now my new "SPR" (small pond rocket) .... I ran it for 1 min. and brought it in to check temps..HAHA..Nothing was above 87deg!!!

Next run, I went for 4min. and the temps were 89deg. on lipos, 101deg. on Neu 1112, and 87deg. on the CC barr 80A esc... I am charging the lipos right now, after I can tell how much longer I can run!! I did set the cut off voltage on the CC 80 to 9.0V (or 3.0V per cell).... It never cut out, or even lost power...

I did "barrel roll" it a few times, no big deal.. Just flipped it over a kept on going! I had a friend with me, he has a radar gun, it clocked 36mph!!

This first run was on a X435 prop... I will prop down to a X430-32 next time out... This little guy has some torque roll in the corners with the x435.... Also I dont need that much speed out of this little guy,,, This first run was like trying to drive a Bullet!! Fun stuff!!

I will get some video ASAP! This little guy is a HOOT!!!

I would love to hear Fluid's comments. As, i believe he built a SAW record making Micro Drifter...45-50mph I think...time to take a bow Jay and i know you hate the limelight but you deserve it.
