hey i was wonder how to go about putting a bearing at that location, do i make a slot for it to sit in? or what?

I never did it, the walls are thin in that location to fit a bearing. I gave up on it, not long after.

Why not just fit a piece of teflon or brass tubing in there? That's how the REK unit is...
