Either I was blind or Steve just added to his motor mounts. I just ordered last week and received the order on Saturday. Trying to work on my 1/16th scale motor mount and I cant get it to bend the way I want so I come in and see this one on the Offshore site needless to say just placed another order.

It just came in Jim. A few guys have been asking me for smaller stuff.
I'm also considering some of the smaller feigao motors.

The 380 motors come in three lengths like the 540's. I'm thinking of getting some of the 380 xl motors. I was thinking like Robby said in the 3000 - 4000kv range.

I'm rethinking the 380 XL motors. They are 216 grams. Almost the same weight as a 540 S at 225 grams. Maybe the 380 L motors at 176 grams would be a better choice.

The xl's I had in the twin cat where 3180kv. During the test I ran they ran fine on 2s- 40mm props. I could have proped up.

some additional info; motor length 58mm, shaft 3.17mm(1/8")dia.
Steven would you perchance be thinking of carrying water jackets for these motors?

Rex thanks for the extra info. Yes, once the motors are in. We will work on jackets for it.

neat, I may yet make a fast boat out out of my 'mono-koat wonder'. well since I went and hunted up their website looking for shaft dia. I figured I'd save someone else the trouble .
