I was just looking at my Cyberstorm and Ray Fuller has mounted the tabs completely flat with the bottom. On my DF41 I would say they are about 2mm up with only slight pressure on the tabsOriginally posted by martin View PostThey work ok level but you get more drag than having them up a few mm.Everything that has a beginning, has an End

Hardware all mounted. The only holes I need to drill now are the water inlets. How's this look?

So I think I will start on a X457, see if the motor can handle it then upgrade to the X460 if it can. Motor placement will be as near the back as possible as I want power to prop.
Keep with the 2 blade props right?Everything that has a beginning, has an End

Motor, flex cable, and collett will be here tomorrow!
I see there are some high quality overlander batteries going on ebay UK. Overlander Pro 60-80c but they are only 4400mah each so it would be 8800mah if paralleled. Is this enough mah for a 6min run?
Other than that there are some 5000mah 40c Turnigys I can buy on this forum but the difference in performance between the 2 would no doubt be really noticeable. Just comes down to run time...
Here's a link to the Overlander page. Price Is about the same as Thunder Power normally- http://www.overlander.co.uk/batterie...treme-pro.htmlEverything that has a beginning, has an End

Ok thanks, I need to bench test it to see if the ESC functions correctly as there has been a few probs with the FC escs. Do you think the timing is right?Originally posted by martin View PostThe 3 motor wires can be connected to any 3 of the esc motor wires, if it runs backwards swap any 2 over & it will run the correct way.Everything that has a beginning, has an End
