Power for a AeroMarine Titon 29

I am finally building my first FE. The hull is a AM Titon 29 with a stinger strut. I have not ordered the EMC or motor yet. I thinking on going with a Feigao 540 9XL and a X Power 100 amp. Iwill be sport boating at first and would like to have longer run times, do not need blinding speed at first.
Sure could use any advise ya or na on my selections. Thanks

You have picked a good power system. My only advice would be to go with a 120 amp esc. It will give a better margin for error should you use to large a prop or if you snag it in weeds...ect. Start with a 37 to 40mm prop. What type and number of batteries do you plan to run?

Took your advise, I ordered a 120 Hydra from OSE today. Great co. to order from. They get it down to Florida in 2 days.

I have a cc120 esc and a 9xl in my titan 29. I'm very pleased with the setup. So far the x642 prop has worked the best for me.

knpc- that looks like sv27 hardware, am I correct? Nice boat, and I love the paint job. Thats somewhat what I'm looking to do on my Cat.
My prop hasn't been wet in a while.

Thanks Its not paint its vinyl. I bought a couple sheets made templates and cut it with an x-acto. It is the hardware off my old SV. It runs about 40 mph on nimh, my 4s lipos got delivered yesterday so I will put the gps in and try them this weekend. Temps have been fine, only time it got warm was when I tried an m445 prop. I have not clocked the runtime, but its seems fairly long.
It is on the edge on the top end, any hardware or setup ideas ?

knpc- looks good. how many cells are you running? Assuming 12?

I have a Vee coming in soon, running a 100amp esc and a KB36 11XL(1500kv). I'll be trying it on 12-14 cells and 4s also. I was thinking of the x642 also, or x442 possibly.

running 12 cells. The lipos I will be running are two 4s 4500s. I can't wait to try them, but I will need to make some adjustments first. If its running loose on nimh, the lipos with more power and less wieght would be hard to control.

I made some adjustments last night and had a chance to take it out today. It went 39.2 mph on nimh and with the lipos it went 45.7 mph. It was running much smoother, just need to move the lipos further forward next time. Had one blowover at the end of the run.
