Andy told me the boats handle great and the only minor complaint people had was a bit of top end loss due to the boats being stickier...

That is really odd, most of the complaints I have heard and read from actual racers (and from Andy's personal test pilot) were about keeping the boat on the water(?).

I raced a Stryker for five years, hope you like yours as much as I liked mine.

I have seen yours running ... stole a few of your ideas

Maybe they got it sorted or I mis-remember . The US importer of them from Jim's RCBD was the guy testing them early on (or had the first one). That was the info Andy said from the first few years back when I talked to him about a Lightning Cat. It was the first few runs for the R42 and at the time they had no hatch for FE so I didn't get too much farther than kicking the tires.

Dom Mauro was the test guy four years ago - at that time he personally told me that the boat wanted to lift especially in the wind - that it and ran very loose. He even had a thread with instructions for an air dam to keep the boat down. I bought a hull from Dom at the time but a fellow club member wanted it badly for gas so I sold it to him before I even drilled a hole. Glad I waited 'cause the new hatch is great.
