initial test results:
1st run mild porpose on the straights (bow movement approx 2")
2nd run porpose through the 1st half of the straight then smoothed out
3rd run porpose only on exiting the corner, pack temps 105F,motor 95F, sc 75F(k-40 prop), guestiment 40ish.
took the 1/8th mile 'M' course w/o excitement. still having water intrusion problems, tho I think I've narrowed it down to the stuffing tube(I've put zip ties on every single in hull hose connection)

Nice and clean,and the paint job is very unique. Bet it looks good on the water too!

to be right truethful I haven't noticed how it looks on the water ...just don't have time what with keeping it on the proper side of the buoys etc., guess I'll have to find a) a trustworthy driver or b) someone to take pics :). I find it surprising how fast I run out of pond...and thats w/ the small prop!

You will like it,no doubt,I took some video of mine the other day and it was good enough for me to actually watch it and then make some adjustments for better handling and speed.I had that small water problem too,but found a nice pond near my house about 250 yards by 250 yards across,now I'm good for long speed runs and testing.

...oh and for those wondering, turning off the rx does not disarm the esc!

Guys, an FE boat is like a loaded gun, treat it with respect at all times. At the Carrollton race last weekend I was taping up my 10S cat when a spectator wandered into the pits and innocently started spinning my x465 prop with his finger! After I almost fainted I made it clear to him that unlike a fuel boat, an FE motor can start up without warning....

I was talking with Bill Zuber at the SAWs. External safty loops or disconnects are in our future in the IMPBA. I think it is a good idea, especially for those of us who are racing with he fuelers.

Not a problem. one should stress the safety issues when appropriate, there was a poster who( whoom I've forgotten) was talking about 'shutting down the rx as a safety procedure...I was trying to point out that, once armed an esc should not be cosidered safe untill you unplug it!

I didn't want to accidently camoflauge the boat(by breaking up the outline) :). plus it should be easy to touch-up dings after a season of racing.
