Thanks a million. Hope to get her wet next weekend if the weather holds up. If not, I'll be in SC in 2 weeks for spring break so she'll definitely be running down there.

Thanks guys. I flipped the ESC around and shortened the wires, went from 6" to 1" length.

Well the Shelby just got some extra horse power. Picked up a new TP Power Pro Competition Series 4050 (measures 4082) 2200kV motor and black tubing from Fighter Cat.

              New setup:

              All hooked up:

              New tubing:

Boat will be getting wet tomorrow!

I'll be curious to see how the TP performs as compared to a 1515.Which prop/s are you using.

I'll be using a m445, x640, and x642. The x642 will be for speed runs, today I'll be testing the difference between the m445 and x640.

                    I'm up to a X645 in my Miss Behavin'/Miss Geico.Next is a M645.This is what I have the 1515 in.The TP's are rated a little higher.
Outside of a little length of hull we have the same setup. IT was very noticeable going from the M445 to the X645.You've got nice cool water don't you?

The Daytona is longer and quite a bit heavier than the MG so I doubt I'll use a x645. I don't want to go over 60mph because the water gets quite hard at that speed lol, plus I don't race. I'm looking for 55mph with the m445 or x640, and 60mph with the x642.

I haven't been on the water in a good month, I'd have to guess the water temp is about 40*

                            Thanks!

I still feel like she runs too wet. You guys will see it in the video later this week. I just trimmed another inch out of the rear floatation so I can get the batteries further back. To raise the bow, the strut goes up? Max speed with the x642 was 48mph. Only stuck the GPS in for the last run so I don't know what the m445 and x640 ran.

The x640 felt the slowest (only by a fraction) and ran coolest.
The m445 and x642 seemed to be very close in speed, the m445 ran the hottest (educated guess <110*F) followed by the x642.
