Bill, Ive got the template made for the mounts. Either way Im going to have to lay up a new plate. I though I had enough black CF plate left and I dont. So, now youve got some options. Black carbon fiber, or blue black carbon kevlar. I will say the blue black CK does darken up a bit, so the blue isnt as brilliant as it looks while raw. I just though maybe since youve got blue on the hull it might look kinda cool.Comment

Makes no difference to me Scott. They won't show when he hatch is on anyways and if you're close enough to inspect the mounts, all the flaws in my painting are going to show.
I have a sheet of either 1.5 or 2 mm (can't recall for sure what it is) if that will helpComment

I usually lay them up right around 3mm. Its no big deal to make a sheet. Ill do it tomorrow or Thursday. Still have em to you Sunday. Or if in time, Ill drop them off to you at work Friday afternoon.Comment

That's a little more cat than I want to cart around.
My 50" Thuderbolt about gives me a hernia getting it in and out of the water.
No super rush for the mounts. Sunday will be fine if all goes according to plan. If not we'll get them later. And thanks for doing them. (I'll thank you again in person when they're done

I started messing with the little H&M hydro I picked up in the swap shop this evening. Pretty much have it sanded and ready for paint but already know it won't be ready for LSO Sunday. Got the 1521 swapped out in my P boat last night but still have to make a mount for the esc in it. The WRP mount doesn't have one built in like the Zicha mount did but at least it accomodates a full length cooler for the motor can. My projects just seem to keep growing.... cant seem to get anything finished for jumping from one to the other. Starting to act like the senior citizen taking out his trash and getting sidetracked on 15 other things before it gets done. At least I gave a good reason for it.

Any pics of the H&M... and its a Hydro? Can you run those in LSO? Or are you building a new LSH boat
Yeah that is a beast of a boat. Ive been wanting to put a Zenoah I have in a new cat hull as the cat hull its in doesnt handle corners very well. I think in time I may tranfer it all over to that FC hull. the current hull is 53", so 7" more shouldnt hurt it too much.Comment
