    Project Miss Elam U-1

This is my first build. I picked a almost new hull cheap. I pulled out the motor mounts, water proof tube and the stuffing tube. The inside of the hull will be re-forced with carbon fiber. Will have a adjustable strut and rudder from a UL-1. Powered by Swordfish 120 amp water cooled esc and Feigao 7XL motor. The motor in photo is muck up.

I always loved the look of this hull, just hated the hardware and electronics it came with. Looking forward to see what you can do here. I suggest try running the batteries in front of the motor, thu hull never seemed to have enough weight in the front. It used to lift in the front too much. Anyways I'm watchin

Dana That sounds like a good place for the lipo's.
Like to hit 60mph range with this setup. Trying to beat my buddy's UL-1 its top speed was 62mph.

It had a bad barrel roll. Busted up the hull.
