Front and center. this is how I have always done it. I want to design a new 30 inch version that is is all enclosed in the center. but I am building a new garage at home at the present time so this boat will have to do for now. Heck Willmer comes in first and second all the time with this boat.

I had to do some glass work on my hull. The reason I had to do the filling on this hull is because I took the blems for my self, part of the training of my apprentice. I might get to the boat later but I need a Motor and ESC for this one first and rent ate all my funds. Need to sell more boats and hardware.
Sanded the hull. Next is the install of the hatch lip under the front of the cowl. this is something I really want it secure in the front. I will also want to have flotation in case it comes off accidentally

A real simple platform for the ESC. make sure you use Epoxy to the fiberglass. CA is a NO NO.

I just placed the velcrowe on the hull it will pull off the tape on the botton so it will not stick untill after I paint it. Wood screws need to be installed in the straps next.

          Screw in the strap

Not much differance untill you wreck and need it. cowl next

Did some trimming on the cowl. Sand and prep for the resin work.

First I cut and fitted the cowl and bottom lip, then I sanded all the parts to prepair fiberglass parts for mateing. in this picture it is fitted and screwed together.

In this picture I have taken off the bottom lip prepairing to mix a slury join parts.

Slury has been applied between the wood block and bottom lip. Slury has been spread around the lip to prepair for the cowl ot be joined.

Bottom lip and cowl has been joined. the tape helps hold a spot that is tweeked. I will want to keep as much of the fillet as possable when sanding.

The boat looks awsome and I really like that outboard! Is it a cut down k&b? I have about 5 3.5cc k&b's laying around I need to do something with and I am getting tired of the nitro messing up all my paint jobs!

I have been cutting down 3.5's for as long as I can remember, too bad that is only about ten or so years like back to 1994. LOL Just being goofy.

I would not do it if it did not work. I seen many people over the years running very wet boats cells getting soaked. We have raced this boat since Ni-cad days. If you had a hole in the wrapper then you would have a possible problem. But I have not seen a problem with Lipo and water yet.

Randy-This boat is incredible. I got one from you about 5 years ago when the hatch was ABS. I got the carbon hull. I also had you paint it the same way (Hooters.) You also built me the K&B outboard. It was one of my all time favorite boats. I have a Stilletto now. While I love that boat, I REALLY miss yours. It handled like a dream and ran like a bat out of hell! Its one of the reasons why I love your boats. I currently run your carbon catamaran and completely love it too! In short, keep up the great work!!!
