Yupp it is a 1/4in. And that is without the water-cooling. There is a ferrule that goes from 1/4 flex to a 3/16 shaft. This was was cheaper than the flexes that has a 1/4" to 3/16 prop shaft and if the flex cable fails I will still have the prop shaft and prop! :)

Smart idea. Next up is to switch out those T600's to a set of 1515's or lehners!

Haha I would have loved to start like that if you could put them on one shaft!

The T-600's are much more powerful than a 1515! If you havent used one in a boat yet, I highly suggest it. I run one in my 31" Rico mono, and it has just as much power as when I ran a 1521 if not more.

That is why I have 8 of them
It sucks that the price has since doubled tho! 30 bucks was a steal.

I am done with the boat! but....
This weekend one of my 8 3s 40C 5Ah batteries got loose in my surge crusher and got into the coupler. It tore a big hole in the side of it so now i have to wait for another batt to get here! It was the first time i ran the battery in a boat.
                I wish i would have ran a 30c or a 3.3Ah.

I might need to run the maiden on 3s in order to surpress my excitement!

Speaking of the T600's, I saw one on RCG for 11 bucks, can't seem to find it now, ugh.
                  Good luck on the shipping!

I think I saw another for 33 a while ago, lurk around in the "airplanes - power systems" classifieds on there and you may find one.

                          Thanks!
Well I have been super buisy! The first run on 3s will be on Saturday for sure. Hopefully the new batt will be here tomorrow for 6s but I doubt it. It was going to be yesterday but I forgot to seal up the hardware and didn't want to risk a leak.

Maiden voyage was pretty sweet!! I got just under 40mph on 3s with a Prather 265.. This thing is going to be pretty insane on 6s. The hull seems to be a winner as wellhaIr reminds me of a full sized Fountain. After 3 mins everything was pretty cool but a cooling tube hame loose in the hull and there was a good deal of water in it. Luckily my esc's are submerged in oil! :):):)

70mph is going to be very attainable!

Maiden Voyage Vid! This is on 3s with a cooling tube wrapped around the motor and a quart of water in the boat.

BTW I absolutely love the way this hull handled the waves. It isn't in the vid but a couple wakes came in and the boat stayed level and strait when it jumped the waves.

I got the other replacelent 3s batt in today! I am going to run it on 6s the next chance I get. I am hopping for a cool run at 60mph with a 60mm prop.
