    DF35......Big blockin it

I started a DF 35 about a year ago and finally getting to it to finish . I started out going to use a Neu 1527 on 2 x 6s banks of lipo's but I want to turn it up a notch so I am going to put in a Lehner 2280/7 LK on 2 x 8s lipo's

    Enjoy the pictures so far

Now for the big block , here is the 2280 Lehner next to the 1527 Neu . I made a custom water jacket for the 1527 a while ago so thats why it looks different . They are a extreemly huge time consumer and I just cringe when I have to make one .

Here is the new power plant next to a 3080/7 - Schulze 40/160 combo thats going to be dropped into my next Sniper build......there will be a build thread for that in a few weeks

Very sweeeeet Peter. But I got to ask? Why all the mono builds? You got the talent. Theres a very sexy big hydro available, the BackLash. Its going to be making mega news this summer. Big. Bold. Very fast. No doubt you could set the standard!

Blazer Marine is putting out a big hydro with mucho potential. Its offered in kit form, no news there, but its got mega power options. Right now the QD crew is running them 23-27cc motors. But recently a 35cc version is popping up. And they are getting 70 to 80 mph solid in oval. To some that might not seem impressive but mix it up with 6 or 8 boats on the bouys and the water churns! Hard to see who's out in first with 8ft roosters. FE is going to need some serious folks to make this one work. Heres a taste. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OCwqeFI5GPw

                            Very Nice Peter,
I am also in the planning of a DF35
                            Going to use
                            - Neu 1524_1D (2550KV)-8 mm shaft
                            - Schulze 40.160wk V16
                            - 2P Hyperion VX 5S 6500
                            Should have potential too.
