Picked up this Team Believer hull and hardware for $100 last year at the Dallas fall race. Has nice hardware but needs some clean up, filling of holes, and repaint.
One pic has a couple of 1520s in it with them in sitting in the sponsons. The other has a 1717 for center mount. My questions are
1. Use 1520sx2, 1518sx2, or 1717 by its self.
2. Also if going with twins locate them in the sponsons or centered side by side.
3. I have 5s1p 5000mah turnigy nano 40-90c packs each 4 total new never used
Also have hyperian 2- 6s1p 40-60c lightly used 6250mah each that can be used.
Want a nice speed handling combo but not a complete rocket!! Sport only plans
187 shafts, standard struts for the center location approach OR on the sponsons struts or stingers not sure.
I have 3 180amp seaking escs all new.
Can u advise on best combos of this stuff and best location for motor, motors.
This will be my first fe boat build. Have built rc boats since 1976 so the project will be pretty easy in terms of construction. Will need heaps of help with the correct electrical end of it all. I also have some high quality becs rated to 40v for this too.
