H&M F1 and K&B outboard build and questions

Hi guys

Always wanted an F1 boat for the cool factor and semi scale look...... Finally started the build after building the outboard a couple of years ago.

The hull is the Hydromarine F1 Skater and the outboard is a converted 3.5 K&B. Not sure about power yet but will probably be my 3 years old trusted SV27 motor and ESC.

Being my first F1, can someone please tell me where the centre of gravity should be? Would it be 1/3 from the transom like the monos?

So far got the transom doubler installed and working on the motor wires and water exit from the hull

I have my COG on this hull set around 7.5" measured from the rear of the sponson, that is close to 30% on a 25.5 " hull. This should give you a good place to start.

Managed to work on the motor wire and water cooling. I am using a carbon fibre plate that will allow the exit of the wire and water cooling. Will also be using a railing system for support to the ESC and batteries......
