    JPriami’s Carbon Fiber 37” Daytona/Genesis Build

37" Daytona Cat Hull - CF LE
Got my bare carbon fiber hull today from FighterCat. Looks great! So Im going to start slowly gathering up all of what I need to build this one. Its going to be a twin setup.

Going to get some PVC and make a stand tomorrow I hope. Making list of some of what I know I need. Still figuring out what motors I will use then the escs & batteries. Figuring up the weight of it all by looking up specs etc.

I may get some vinyl graphics to cover parts of the boat to have some bright colors on it. Will make it easier to see since I plan on having it moving pretty fast.
Ive got the diamond plate fightercat decals to put on it too.

Nice looking hull, any word on how these perform on hot single motor applications?

Ive been looking up specs of stuff and trying to figure out what direction I want to go to power it.
Looking like I will do the following..based on my figuring
                  Twin brushless outrunners 3740 1760Kv
Specs of H3740/2 KV1760 as below:
                  Class:600/700
                  KV:1760
                  Poles: 8
                  Max Power:3kw
                  Weight(g):390
                  Idle current/10V:6.30
                  Max Lipo:11s
                  Shaft diameter:6mm
                  Measurement (mm):¢44.3*65

Other twin motors (hyperions) I plan on testing in this are listed below a few post

I will be able to run from 4S-8S I dont care to go over 8S on this.
                  ESC's to be determined--swordfish 240?
Hyperions G3 EX 45C or Nano tech 45C 5000mAh packs in various configs depending on what I am wanting to run that day

                  fightercat 110mm stingers--on order
                  rudder to be determined
pickups to be determined-- but i have some in hull ones i may use.
                  fightercat motor mounts

Sweet! I have the same hull sitting at the house with the diamond plate decals. I will be starting my build soon. Waiting for FC to ship me those same outrunners... the 3740's and the 110mm stingers!! I've got 2- T-180's at the house, I'll prob. start off running those. Def. will be watching this build!! Keep us posted!!

im gonna need something that can do 4-10s for an esc. not looking to run 10s. but same principal as the motor. it can do 11S but i want to keep it safe at 8s.

Looking like I will have to buy 2 swordfish 240 ESC's to do the broad range of lipo cells I want for this project. If anyone has any insight to a better option let me know.
Im wanting to have an esc that will do over 150amps, and 4-10+ lipo cells. But it cant cost more than the swordfish 240 at $260ea because so far thats the best price I can find.
