    1/6 Jetsprint build

Hello all, i know there probably has been a few Jetsprint builds going on before but i thought i'd add another.
Hull is 650mm long X 280mm wide, scaled it off a Mackcraft Jetboat, with a few modificatiions to the bottom to make it handle for RC use. This is about version 6 of these hulls and i'm hoping i have it right this time
Jet unit is going to be a Kehrer 29mm unit coupled up to a Feigao 10xl , Turnigy 120amp esc , 5000mah 40c 4s1p lipo . Have had a little experience with the graupner units but the price seems to be the same as the Kehrer units now so i thought i'd give them a go.
Here's a link to my previous version :

Please excuse the paintwork as it's my first go at Airbrushing. If your interested in a hull pm me.

Looks like you could start a 'drifting' event with that!

Is it a Jet drive? How long is the hull?

Yes there is a lexan hatch that is taped in to aid waterproofing. The jet units i have used in these are the Graupner 29mm jet units GR-2344 (but these are no longer available...bugger ,cheap too) , am going to try the Kehrer 28mm jet

But any jet unit that is suitable for electric will work.
          Hull is 650mm long.
Still also working on a mini Sprint track on the side of my dam to run them in, should be a hoot ! and may even actually need the rollbars...
I guess they just are something different!
          Cheers Mick

Verry cool, there are alot of mods you can do to a NQD Jet, after the $ you get them for it still allows you to have a tickle with them.
You probably would be able to go up to about a 40mm jet for these hulls, not that i have tried one yet.

Hi, Mick. Nice paint work, and I love the jet boats. What are they made out of, and what would be the cost if some one in the states wanted one?

                    Thanks heaps guy's,
These boats are Fiberglass , Last boat i sent to the states cost around the $45 AUD mark for postage, may be able to get it cheaper if i don't have the rollcage installed ( due to the cubic meterage for postage calculation) , i can do the hulls for $90 AUD + postage and if you want the stainless rollcage then add $20 (these are easy to make if you have a tube bender).

Hi can you get me a price to ship one to Canada may be the rollcage could be apart and laying in the boat. I have 2 jets that need a home and some 1520s or 1717 that need a home

Here are the pics of the bottom . Still waiting for my jet to arrive, when it does... lets get busy!
For those that were asking and going to ask,
registered post to USA-Canada is $35 AUD up to 2kg, maybe too heavy if rollbars are included
Express post to USA-Canada is $58 AUD up to 20kg

If anyone's genuinely interested PM me please as i was trying to keep this thread to building it. Much appreciated.
