    Lynx P limited O/B Tunnel

    My latest creation.
I ran her through the paces last weekend, so far I like what I see.
Our first race is this weekend in Sycamore Ga., we'll see how she does.

        Thanks Kent,
The "Submit new thread" and "Preview post" tabs are too close together.

The Flynn OS 21 cables are a tad too long for the Lawless. The Lawless cables seem to be the same quality though.

Gotcha! I didn't know if they worked or not (good to know). At one point I was going to buy a Lawless leg, but went with the O.S.

I bet that tunnel will bring out the competition! Suppose to be a good runner!

              Thanks Chilli,
The Stewart hull is looking like a piece of safety glass that has been hit with a hammer. I hate it, she ran good, she's just old and tired. Ole Herb can be proud of that one.
The OS lower is going to go one one of Mikes boats when I can swing it.

Hey Doug I have been working the same project. Care to show some photos of the radio /battery box? I'm having a hard time getting the CG far enough back. Are you able to use a mod 1440 like the nitro version? I know that hull sure likes that prop.

Hmmmm... I WANT one of your tunnels! Do you make one that is around 36" or so (7.5 sized or ???)... I'm thinking 6S boat.... Already have a 7.5 Lawless all ready to go...

It's tough Eric. This boat is not FE friendly. Here are a few pics. Rumor has it that there may be a FE version in the works depending on how this boat performs with limited power.
I wanted to get this set up so that I could get a CG of 28 to 30%. It turns out (so far) that the boat likes 28%. To get that , EVERYTHING has to be in the back of the boat. The RX is tucked under the deck.
The lower was set per the build sheet but I ended up mounting it dead square on the transom before I ran it the second time. It wanted no part of having the lower mounted on that angle.
I started out with the 42X55 that I was running on my Stewart tunnel.
I have a modded 1440 that I was going to try along with some others during open water on Friday.

Hope this helps. I'll post some more here after this weekends race.
                        Good luck with your build.

Sweet... Please let me know when you have something ready...

It'll be interesting watching to see how the Lynx does. I was under the impression that they didn't really like weight, and they are CRAMPED under that cowl. Will be nice to have another successful hull to choose from if this one works, provided they are actually available to people to buy.

Doug I have one as well and have picked up the ply to mod the radio box. I like the way you have it laid out and am waiting for more pictures. Can't wait to hear how it runs and good luck at the race.
