Good idea that silicone, need to get some of that. Funny how close I was again of burning the esc´s...

The weather is really bad, so no boating today

Just got back from testing minor mods... no gps but decent speed.Re-routing the wires and siliconing them made all the difference. 7 minutes of driving and the motors do draw more juice then the t600´s I had in this b4. -lipos were warm and slightly puffed after 3+4 minute runs .After they cooled down they were fine.Motors, esc´s about 5o deg. C. So for next summer I need to get another set of lipos so I can plug them to 2p config.
(only few weeks of boating left here this year ,so I´m not in a hurry to get new stuff.... )

No worries mate as you know ive had a few teething problems with this one, think i took my eye off the ball with been busy with the big boats,it happens to the best of us but i will get it sorted very soon and one will have your name on it for sure.May i just say its been a pleasure seeing what you achieved with the Navaho and i think once you put a gps in there you might be pelasantly surprised by the speed well done m8 .

crrcboatz, 6s 5000mAh 25C cheapos. Should be about 20k rpm unloaded. -maybe about 18k in water.

Mart, I´m sure you sort it out, take your time and make it perfect so we can make ém FAST.

funny you mentioned the gps... -the guy who filmed last video said it looked much faster then b4, and I think it was a bit faster also, need to gps her soon.

What impresssed me the most is how stable she looks and how well balanced she is on the water, youve got it spot on m8 really impressive.Yes ive seen faster (not by much) but ive also seen them slower and not as well setup as yours, youve got her running beautifully. At a guess id say your over 50 mph now and more to come im sure should you wish to push it lol,me personally id be happy with what youve got now and enjoy it.I think with two packs per motor you will see even more speed hmm wondering if 60 mph is possible lol.
That boat would win races how shes set up im certain, thanks again for the videos youve done a great job. Also yet again i have to say i love that lake your running on,one day id love to pay it and you a visist and run a boat or two hehe.

Yet again nice runs Pate, amazing how well she turns even without turn fins.
Dunno whats up with your gps but id say your right shes arround 80-90 kmh or 49-55 mph for me and our American friends .
140 kph would be 87 mph hmm maybe one day lol

Looks like its riding very good,
How are the esc and cells and motors temps ?
And what kind of run times are you getting ?

                        Thanks for input.

Lenny, the new motors are a bit much for the batteries. 4 minute runs are easy, 5000mAh is enough of capacity for 7 minutes, but the cells will puff a bit if I do that.

Next summer I will go 6s2p or maybe 10-12s 2p, if the budget stretches that far...

The temps are fine, motors are warm, but can hold finger on them for 5 sec(no temp gun used to meseaure temps of these motors yet )

Esc´s are warm but way cooler then motors. Lipos are warm after 4 minute run but not that much,

Thinking 2p would give more then 10 minute run times w/o heat issues.

Mart, the new hull sure looks great!

Do you think the t600 motors would pull less amps and run cooler ?

                            I am thinking of using one t600 1400kv with a seaking 180a esc in a 36" shockwave hull on 4s2p or 6s2p.

Just want a good sport cruiser with good cool run times.

                            Yep look nice Mart,

Can not wait to see it get wet.
