I don't know whether or not you did, but for anyone who is going to be cutting/sanding/filing carbon fiber, you MUST wear a respirator, and a set of rubber/latex gloves. Not a dust mask, a respirator. Carbon fiber dust is very bad to inhale. Microscopically, carbon fiber dust looks like little spears. You can imagine what it does to your lungs when you inhale it.
I remember I posted this once in someone's thread (don't recall if it was here) after they worked with it and no safety gear. The idiot jumped down my throat for giving him safety tips. Just looking out for your health people. Don't want anyone ending up with lung tissue damage because they were too cool to wear a respirator.
