Go for it, why have a boat set up just like everyone else? You guys know by now I like to be different. The twin outboard Scarab and now the 54" Fountain with scale outdrives.
If it doesn't work you make it work and if it doesn't work after you tried everything at least you had fun tinkering.
Its fun!

Wakeboard....you need to ditch those turn fins pronto!.....You do not need them on a cat...O/B OR I/B.......... They will create handling problems! ......Just trying to help you out....Originally posted by wakeboardfusion View PostAt first I figured I wouldnt waste my time, but I already had the OB and the BJ was sitting there without a powerplant. I figured a couple hours out of my day while on winter break wouldnt be too bad. Hope to have it out this weekend. Will it affect performance if i leave the old stuffing tube in? I dont wanna take it out if the OB sucks and I gotta go back to stock.

Hi all not sure if this will get a reply but anyways im planninto put one one a geico im getting with bonewars help and darin jordans idea to use the geico for limited spec class and this is the main reason i would like to put a stiletto outboard on it plus outboard look cool lol but im just worried about it keeping up with the other inboards with speed and turns thanks for anyhelp and the hk outboard looks awesome on the back of it a nice change from the inboard. Anyways just wondering how it turned out and did you have to buy the hornet or did you buy the unit seperatelyOriginally posted by ScarabChris View PostGo for it, why have a boat set up just like everyone else?
