The godspeed has had mixed reviews, seems to be sub-par compared to the HOR cat or the skunkwork gen II cat if you do not want to wait for fightercats hulls.

I would look up Hydrogerry on the swap page and see if he still has his 32" skunkworks cat for sale. Good price with the carbon fiber already installed. These are nice hulls. Look up gerry, he has one for sale.

Aeromarine still have "waterdamaged" EX RTRs for sale as hull only for $60 or just hull and hardware (rudder & strut) for $90, unbeatable deal IMO.

I normally run mine with a hacker b50 11L on 4s1p, 5800mAh, Hydra240(overkill), X637 detounged & backcut. I run 6 minute Naviga style endurance races though, this setup may not be suitable for your local racing. When I broke my 36" Crestrunner cat before the nationals I transfered the gear over and ran it with a Neu 1521/2.5D 8s1p 5000mAh, Himodel GX200bec, X642 detounged and cupped for 6 minute races and with a stock X646 for 5 lap Sprints for fun. it didn't handle as well as with the b50 but it was faster and more stable, I reckon half way in between the 2, 6s1p or 3s2p would be ideal for sport but that doesn't fit a class. It should do well in either N2 offshore 2s2p or P offshore 4s2p though, if you normally have flat water I would go N2 and save some cash but if its often rough where you run P offshore would be a better bet.

I forgot you have hull length limits on your classes in the states, will a MM fit in N2? easy decision for P offshore if not.

I have a Leopard 4074 2200 kv in my Mean Machine, with an X640, runs good on 4s2p in the high 40's, 140 peak amps.

                        Fricken awesome boat

Handles very well and IMO isnt ugly like the MM. Dont get me wrong, the MM is a winning machine for sure... but The Skunk/ HOTR/ Apparition etc etc (all same hulls) are fantastic once you find the sweet spot. Many of these are touching 50mph on 8Xls and 4S.
