Hay brushless how's the flex shaft going to take being that short,and are ya going to move up to A 187 flex or is the standerd 150 going to be O,K

now what's a good way to take out most of the rails in this boat?

brushless my brother hydrojerry has a tool called a drimmale that you can pick up at wallmart it has some vary good disk's that will take the wood down ,thats the only thing I can think of,Hope it helps

Yea i have cut rails out before with a dremel and carbide disc before. some have a little router type bit that will grind away the bit thats left after drilling.

I run mine about 30% for the COG and it works great...and that is the point at which it runs most stable for me. Just thought I'd share.

I have my electronics set back to 27% for loose and have my packs able to move forward to 30%+ if I want

Ok, I pulled the shaft to order a collet, and it's an od ball size of 0.171
so I am placing an order for a few things including a 0.187 shaft for this one

I spent all weekend through Monday, with my girlfriend for her birthday, so I have not gotten much at all done
and I've put off building a second P-Spec racer this week to..
I'm am trying to do a quick mod on a SV27 and see how that goes for this weeks races.

may sell off the CC1717 with mount and find a motor to run 8s

who has some ideas for power?
I'm looking for solid mid 60's, or even 70 if I can

The Neu 15271y he uses can handle 8s. But if you want something a bit more affordable (like what I'm looking for :)) perhaps a Leopard 4092 could be an option?

Leopard 4092 1300 kv on 8s is just a tad high for rpms possibly, can you run 7s..........that would get you over 60.

I read from your boat list you have experience with the 4082's. Are they good motors? Have you ever tried any on 6s before?
