    Hydro Marine Cat

I got this hull back in the early 90's and it's been sitting in storage. I also have an old K&B 11cc outboard that I thought I'd convert to electric and use a Castle 1717. I've got it all put together and took it out today for the 2nd time and I was able to get 57.4 out of it using an Octura 447/3, not bad for a boat that weighs almost 15lbs. Motor, batteries and esc were cold. I'm running it with a Swordfish 240HV and Turnigy 5000 40c in 6s2p.

Nice to have some feedback on the Castle 1717, we know it is possible to hit 60+ easily with the right prop.

The first time out I had a Graupner K50 on and it tore both blades off. It was running very wet and topped out at 49. I was actually very pleased with 49 since it came back in with nothing hot. I was also using a Turnigy 180 but after seeing the eagletree data I put the swordfish in. I'm going to see if I can make it into the 60's next week.

X447/3, I was running in a smaller area today and was trying to avoid the fishermen so I wasn't able to let it rip...

Also, still running air cooled with no heat issues.
