    Jesses ol' DF29.... recommendations?

So here is Jesses old DF29.... I just bought it.... he had it powered with neu 1515 1.5y... I have those 1515 1.5y's laying around as well but I just wanted a good sport boat So I have decided to go with just a good old Feigo 10xl with a himodel 200 amp speedo.... gonna run a X445 and move up to a x447.... the 10xl with x447/10xl seems to work well on my titans so I figure... why not...

Anyhow I got the boat all together and am wondering what angle the rear strut should be on these buggers.... I have a df33 and df40 and sniper as well but to be honest haven't ran any one of them enough to fine tune em'....

now that I see a pic... looks a little extreme. Try 1-2deg up to start. I will see if I have any pics of when I was running it.

ya taker back down a tick and move your batteries back some - maybe an inch. see the marks along the hatch groove? I marked off 25, 30 and 33% try it at 30 and see what she does. When at the pond, leave her at 30% and play with strut until she rides pretty dry. Use battery placement to combat changing water conditions (farther forward when rough, back when flat). Trim tabs should be pretty much horizontal, I wouldn't mess with them yet.

Jason everyone will have their way of tuning. I usually start with everything neutral and GOG at 28%. Do some runs and see where your at. I like my COG, so when you hit a wake and become airborne the boat flies relatively level with the ass a little heavy. This will help with stuffing in rough water. Then once I get that dialed I move on to the hardware.
