hi guys, ive been paruzing the forums for a few days now and havent really figured an answer out on a few questions ive been asking myself.
1: i know buying a pre-made is easier than building one, but is it recommended for beginners who don't really know what their looking for in boat electronics, but know what their looking for in results?
2: What are "acceptable" run times for the boats you guys own? im not looking to building/buying a racer, but i want to be able to get on the water for a decent amount of time and enjoy some speed at times also. in relation, what are normal re-charge times for your batteries.
3: what are these 2s/3s/4s/5s/6s things i keep reading about. im pretty sure i have it figured out but im just confirming that its the number of cells in a lipo pack.
4: i found a few threads referencing the delta force boats (particularly the 29 and the 33) and was wondering if that's a good starting point for a beginner looking to build. (i also found the thread that has info for the Hull Size/Number cells/Motor Kv/Prop Size/Type ESC so i have a basic starting point in that department)
5: relating to the above question, the OSE page for those bare hulls have recommended parts included in the descriptions, are those parts OK? and what kinds of speeds/run times can i expect from those? (for reference here is the 29 im looking at and here is the 33)
for those of you who are wondering what my "wants" in a boat are, here's what im thinking; and please feel free to tell me im crazy for wanting something like that.
hopefully this isn't too much for a newbie to ask on his first post
and i would be greatly appreciative to anyone who replies!
thanks in advance!

- run time of 20 min or so
- speed of 25-30mph
- transmitter range (maybe?) don't know what the ranges on most radios are but id like to have a long range to play with.
