Just a couple of shots of the outboard unit, had to make a new steering arm but also added an extra piece to it to link the 2 together,(when it gets here LOl) and can also see where the the servos are going to sit, just working out where the links will pass through the top deck.

Cheers bud
Iv made a start on the canopys for in front of the outboards, been a bit of a nightmare to work out so i can still get everything i need to and got the tubes in for the steering cables, also had to but an extra piece on to move the outboard back slightly for extra clearance:

Just gotta ad a couple of small brace between the 2 sides and start the top so its removeable for accesshttp://s577.photobucket.com/albums/s...79/F1%20boats/

DUDE! That thing is bitchen! I love how the back of the boat doesnt look like the outboards are retro fitted it looks like its designed for outboards! There is a dude by my river house that has big DCB with twin mercs and i always thought it would be sweet to do a an rc version!

have you ever considered designing a all out rigger?
Would like to see drawings for that.
Im always into building a new rigger, as that is primarally what i run. I do have other boats, but i have a serious need for speed that only a rigger can satisfy.
Enough said.
Keep up the good work on the cat.
Steve.
