i got twin 3026 1900 in my cat on 5s should be in the water real quick here..

iv looked at all 3 1400,1600 & 1900 but im edging towards the later 2.
the motor in there can take 5s,tempted just to try it 1st and see how it is,if not ill get another motor.

Managed to fit new turn fins,will adjust them once i take it for a trial run.
only probs is iv only got 3s 25c 3700 lipo.so might try it on this while waiting for others to turn up,just to make sure she floats ok LOL and set up trims etc.

Taking her for a maiden run tomorrow will post some vids if all goes well.
Only running 3s to start with while i wait for other bats to turn up,but at least i can get her wet

Well managed to get a couple vids.
Was running 540L,1800kv,on 3s.1p 3700mah and 40mm prop.
Forgot that other props hadnt come,or new batts.
got some small issues to iron out,1 of them being 1 of the cooling pipes got small split i think as their was some water in the hull.
but here you go not bad considering,once everything else arrives will take her for some run times and vids.

I want to change the motor and run 4s,been looking at scorpion 3026 1900kv
Do you think this would be any good,i want to hit the 50mph mark.

Well just ordered new scorpion HK 3026,1900 kv outrunner,gonna run 4s and prop to suite,just gotta ordeer new ESC now

motor and ESC turned up today whoooooooo just got to get them installed now:

Well got in motor in and connected up to a spare ESC and batt that i use for testing and setting up,heres what i got:

New ESC now installed,and moved the turnfins to 90 degrees to the hull sides.
Also put on 42mm prop,so she ready to go:D

just made battery carrier with velcro strap,and iv managed to reset the timing to 15* and sounds smoother and more pokey just testing it on its stand.
(the boat was rocking just touching the throttle) LOL.
Will take it out again tommorrow and give it another run with these adjustments,and just try and adjust the stinger slightly and see how goes,will post some new vids then.
