Some 1 on another forum surgested removing a third of the strakes to reduce lift at the rear of the hull,simular to the arrowana hull,what you guys reckon,shall i leave it as is or should i remove.http://s577.photobucket.com/albums/s...79/F1%20boats/

My 2 cents. Having the strakes all the way back to the rear will lift and air out the boat a lot. This is good if you are running car motors. But with any motors that produce a decent amount of power I would move them forward and stager them. The size looks good just the placement is off.

Made a few mods and epoxied everything in.
striped it out now gotta abit of filling & sanding to do then seal her up ready for the 1st coats of primer:

Been hard at it,and now all filling,sanding & 3 coats of sealer have been apllied,just awaiting sealer to cure for 1 last rub down and hopefully shoot some primer on her later today:

Well managed to shoot several coats of primer on it and marker coat,all gotta do now is wait for it harden,then sand it till marker dissapear,then any black marks means defects,grain of wood or small dents.sort them out then ready for base primer:

Well manged to get it flatted down and sort out the small defects,and just gave it another couple of coats of primer,will flat it down again and hopefully start shooting some topcoat on her tomorrow.
