Anything other than a hydra 240? The hydra looks good, but none in stock w/ OSE...
I can't handle the ETTI. Those beeps must be on just the wrong frequency as they make me wana smash my boat. JK, but not really...
I just wana plug in the ESC to my laptop, enter the settings, and KNOW they took, then go play. Suggestions? Water cooled, good for 6s, and EASY (even if you think the Etti is easy, no) to program?? Thanks. I just wana finish this boat! F.. beeps and tones.....

Well if you wait. More people(like myself) will have more time on the Castle Ice 200. I ran it on 6s last weekend and will make some 8s runs this weekend.

Ok, cool. Looks like those can be programed w/ a castle link? Do you have any available yet? Price? Can you put them on a water cooled board?

What do you think about the Swordfish 240 with a program card? Do you just plug in the card and flip switches to select options ? Seems a lot easier than the Etti, or no??? Any ups or downs on this unit compared to the Etti 150 opto? More power handling is good.... Thanks, -Nick

The swordfish 240 is also a good esc for the money. With lcd style programming box, its very easy to program. I just thoughts its a bit overkill for the 6s lipo.

Ok, Thanks. I agree on the overkill, but isn't it less expensive than the ice 200 would be? Does the 120 hold up well at 6s, or would the 240 hold up better? Only spending $84 vs $249 sure would be nice though...
I do have the "sport BEC" if that matters...

If you want cheap look into the turnigy HV marines. I don't know how they work as I never used it.

A friend uses the 180 on 6s with good results. I used the Ice 100 on 6s with good results too.

Thanks for the offer, I just don't get the instructions. It's probably just me, I blame my ADD and lack of patients....

Cheap quality too? Cheap is good as long as they hold up....
IDK....I'll give programing the Etti another shot, and if that doesn't work, I'll probably order the swordfish 240.

Osh, have you seen this video, it might help you figure the ETTI programming sequence out. G/L http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JMGQ5...layer_embedded

Jeff Wolltz racing has a good video too..It can be a pain, but let it run through the option beeps a few times and you soon catch on to the beeps

Thanks for the videos guys. I was having a bad day and decided...F -it, and ordered the swordfish 240. If that doesn't work for me, I should give up on RC. I'm thinking it will work very well though. I sure hope so, since I can't afford it. Hopefully someone will buy my Etti 150 since it's still new. With the swordfish 240 I can run up to 12s, so i can really make this boat catch air and blow over...Yeehaa. Jk, but maybe 8s would be neat??

Is the ETTI a high voltage one? If so I'm interested.
