    Interest in 34" 1/10 8255 hull

OK, Mike has geneously offer to scale down his 1/8th plans to make a 34" wood kit of the 8255 hull. This would make a 1/10th scall wood kit of the 82 Executone, 82 Speedy Printing or 83 Miss Rock boat.

Anybody interested in a P-Sport boat that falls with the length restriction?

    All the best,

    Ray

Ray, this hull makes many many other sponsored boats as well. I can also offer an epoxy cowling to go with the boat, I would just need to modify a similiar cowling I already have. This kit would include framing, sheeting, and cowling most likely. Once I have all the plans finished on cad, the turn around time of selling the kit would be rather fast. Mike

Hugh, that is one of the boats my kit would make! Who made the cowling and will they make more of them? I could do the wood kits, and they make the cowlings! Who did your decals as well? Nice nice boat! Mike

            Hi Mike,
I bought this boat from propduster on the RRR site in 2006. The builder of the boat was Dave Helton. He is a member of the Classic Thunder club in Seattle, WA. He is active on their site look at Classic Thunder News for 06/02/10.

Just so you guys know... a 1/10th scale hull, geometry-wise, would make a lousy P-Sport. They are designed for a lot lower power system than a true P-Sport.

I think you guys would be happier if you'd just build 1/10ths. LOTs of racing here in the NW for those, and they are legal NAMBA classes as well.
