1/4" flex drive tru tolerance

I just purchased x4 ) 1/4 - 3/16 R&L flex drives and because Ive now built quite a few was wondering what is to be expected from pre built drives. I put them in my lathe and one drive is .003" off which works, the other 3 are .005-6" off. At this tolerance they will be wobbling... your thoughts?

Are you talking about a solid prop shaft that accepts a 1/4" cable and is turned down at the threaded end to accept a 3/16" prop?

A 1/4" flex to a stub shaft that is 1/4 to 3/16 for props, yes.

So you're saying the 3/16" reduction part of the shaft is off center with the 1/4" part, or, the stub shaft is not aligned with the flex?

Lol... the cable and the stub were bought assembled. The tolerance between the two are off significantly (not true/not straight/wobble). I'm asking what tolerances are expected. It's kind of a mute point now that I'm turning out my own stubs and will assemble in a lathe to insure a tolerance of <.003"
But the question is what's acceptable for these.

I just roll mine across a flat surface, nothing fancy. Most of my high RPM cables use prop shafts that are bored out so the flex cable is glued internally. Those are all CNC'd and with a rare exception, I haven't had any tolerance issues with them.
