I'm just having fun with it, so as long as it holds together I'll be happy. So far it starts and runs really well. They said they have made many changes for 2010 model, so hopefully they are good changes!

If it dies... It's time to make friends with Lehner.

You had me worried!

Says about 50mph, but I'll be happy if it does 40 and doesn't blow up.

It's going to be difficult to maintain this one. That's quite a bit of metal to protect from salt water! Guess I'll stock up on fogging oil!

OT: What's a good lubricant to use in the shaft oiler? I put some 90wt gear lube in, but not sure and there's nothing in the manual. I can easily mix it and lighten it up, but didn't want it to run out all over the floor.

I put it in the water tonight, well, the backyard pool anyhow! Wanted to make sure it floats before tomorrow mornings maiden voyage.

Took some more photos of the hull. I really like the paint/color scheme on this one. It flows so well!

The decals aren't the greatest up close, but it looks real nice together.

Thanks, I didn't even think about that! That would be bad news! I do have a rescue boat though and will be running in an area that I can wade into if I have to... as long as the tide is low!

The tank says 25:1, which seems about right, just a little bit of smoke. Nothing in the manual about it.

Do you know if there's any break in procedures for these? I didn't see it anywhere, but usually there is a break in procedure on gas engines.

also run it on a mineral oil the first few runs to let the ring bed. Run say 2 and 1/3 to 1/2 turns on the high needle and 1 turn on the low for run in.
