Yes the 580 will heat up for sure and can be demagnetised easily.

    Hi,
the distance from the transform is 90 mm (to the end of blade, basically to the end of prop by octura)...
I'm using Octura X445 now (Leopard 4074 1050kV, 6s) , but I would like to try X447/3 - 3 blade for more stability... I hope the torque of Leopard (will try Leopad 4082 1250 or 1500 kV on 6s) will be good anough... The lenght of rudder is aprox 105mm.

    Regards

    Martin

Many Thanks Martin for the photos, nice job!

the 4082 1500kv sounds very good on 6s with 445-447/3 maybe 130A and 180A max

I will test mine with NEU 1515 1.5y, 1527 1y, and turnigy 1400. I 've been working on my other boats, preparing the mean machine and df35" for some races plus this twin sprintcat.

EDIT: I could not find any 4082, just saw these ones in other thread http://shop.turbofanelectrics.com/pr...&categoryId=33

Today I have tested RaceMaster with following configuration:
              ESC Turnigy 180A
              Leopard 4082 1250 kV
              Octura X445
              2x3S Turnigy 5800 25C lipo (in series - total 6S).

Temperatures after cca 7-8 minutes full throttle:
Motor cca 35°C (with small silicon jacket which covers only cca 1/3 of the motor length), Lipos 40°C, ESC cca 35°C
It seems to be good configuration for this boat. I will test 1500kV Leopard later on.

Boat is markedly faster then with Leopard 4074 1050KV. 1050kV will be probably good on 8S.

I have tested a NEU 1527 1y on 6s and now testing a cheap motor 1340 kv, 6s. the boat needs a min. 445 prop.

                      Hello Disar,

I received the MHZ Fountain and the Castle Creations 1717 1580kV motor this week, this hull is really amazing.

What do you think about the COG for this hull 30% or more? Lenght is 1 meter and width is 21 cm, same than MHZ Racemaster, thank you

Here is the setup, 30000 RPM unload :

This a very good boat that you have. I saw the photos in your Dutch forum, very good construction and excellent handling. I saw similar arrangement in a larger mono (Titus MHZ) from a German builder Tommi

And eventhough I have not finished tuning mine, I am very tempted to remake it twin!!!

                              A very nice MHZ Racemaster

                              MHZ Fountain vs Racemaster

The hull bottoms look the same, the fountain just has a taller freeboard.
