The maiden voyage will be tomorrow up in Michigan. I will do my best to get some video. I am starting with a 45mm prop on 4s. I am still waiting for my other lipos to come. They finally shipped this morning. I think they need to hire a few more people to pack boxes over there!!

NO. It was waaaaaay to windy. The lake had rolling whitecaps. My 16ft fishing boat was having a ruff go.

As of right now we still have winds at about 25mph with gusts to 50+.

I am starting to think I will never be able to run this boat.

She is still waiting to get wet. I have NEVER seen a spring SOOOOOO windy. Everytime I am free to run her, I have whitecaps rolling across the pond. On the plus side I have all my new lipos so I will be able to run her on 4s, 5s, and 6s!!
Thats if the weather ever cooperates.

I have been busy playing with me full size boat (we were out for 5 hrs this morning) so this has been on the back burner......
That being said it will be in the water some time this week!!! I have been thinking about what you guys have said about the BJ motor not being enough. I have a 10XL coming. I think that will be a better fit for it to run on 4s,5s, and 6s. The first runs will still be with the BJ motor on 4s and 5s. I have been watching youtube too much and I am HYPED to get this thing wet!!

I run a 10XL in mine with 4S. I have 2S and 3S packs also, been wanting to try 5S or 6S but have not yet. Let us know how she runs and that may inspire me. What ESC and props were you going to try?

I am running a Hi-model 200 amp 3-8s esc. On 4s I am going to start with a prather 220 and move up from there. On 5 and 6s I will prop down to a 40mm or prather 215 and move up if I can. I have props from 40mm up to 49mm in different pitches. I will see what work best on each and let you know.
