    Oh what to do now

Mulling in my mind what to do for my next project.

Could be this kit Miss Adventure

could be a Baby Bootlegger (maybe I can beat Andy in finishing his)

or it could be a 1/16th scale Miss Wahoo

I voted miss Wahoo because I'm not a big fan of monos, but if it wasn't for my prejudice against them I would have gone for the Baby Bootlegger, that thing looks meaner than a box full of rattlesnakes.

I vote the bootlegger. I see boats based in this style at the lake and you have to see the heads that turn. At the dock I was at last year there was a 40' three seater that I just had to look at each time I walked by it. There is just something pure about a wooden boat and a big block carbureted motor!

I voted for the Bootlegger as well - very hard to beat for a scale boat.

Jim, Not sure what to vote 4 as its your time and money. But one thing you should think about before you decide, I have built 2 bootleggers, they are by far the toughest of all the boats I have built, But also the nicest when finished, Each took well over a year to complete. Bending all that mahogany is a real pain.

It depends on if you want to race or not. I love to race. I've raced something since I got my first set of clamp on skates and bicycle .
I heard a couple of the clubs in your area are going to race crackerboxes . Any of the others would look good on the mantle .
Personally , I get bored after I get a boat running pretty good . Then I want to race some one.

                          wahoo wnd

I love the 1/16 hydros. What I am/was really hoping is you have finished/will finish a 1/16 hydro with that small 26-28mm outrunner!

I am working on my 1/16 hydro and wondering what motor to put in it. I do not want a big amperage motor, going more scale like you had done. Small outrunner or the 2845 inrunner.

Whatever you choose, it will be nice to see the pics of it being built.

Here is the motor that is going into my next 1/16th (haven't gotten the kit yet)
Scorpion HK2216-12 I am sure it wil be faster than the 1/16th bardahl was on a 2s pack
