Some folks have alot of questions so here are some updates. Pm's sent.
I sent an email regarding proposals to modify the second stage turbine as the angle is still pretty shallow. i took one jetcat to General dynamics and we tore it apart. submitted some info. never got anything back from jetcat germany after submitting proposals, probably filed my email.
i may just have GD mill a new second stage ($700 usd for the item) and that will give me more torque depending on fuel intake, and it wont hurt a thing. So for 1400 bucks total i can get about 2-3 more hp out of each of my jetcats without hurting them.
@gerwin
Using 160's? hope they have a new marine tranny design for that as the current one in use sucks ass. it leaks, overheats, and only has a 8mm shaft. Gerwin if the Euros are having problems with flex drivelines on the new big jetcats twisting in half, then maybe they need something else...........i am sure they will eventually come up with something that has already been made.
As for drivelines late 2007 i submitted patents on two sets of special high rpm, high torque micro ujoints and cv orbitals (cv joints not made because of material cost and tooling) i helped design with a company and i use them for my solid drivelines. I told them to release lower grade replicas but my design and material useage doesnt get released until i say so. (suck on that bit o news Euros, grin)
a couple folks even got to see the prelims.
So when i start seeing the solid drivelines in the big euro cats they can thank me.
Dont send PMs about the drivelines and those that have my info on them dont say a word, all two of you. Thanks.
