    HOR32 servo choice????

Can anyone tell me any reason not to use a small servo in my HOR32 cat'?
In my original build I fitted it with a 9Kg/cm Tower Pro servo, I also have this servo in my 48" Riptide and that weighs like 18Kg....

So with this being so much lighter and with the twin drives space is very tight so, Can I use a small servo like a HiTec HS81MG?????

I know I can lay the servo on its side but I still would like to use my original steering setup and put the servo in the sponson over one of the flexies....

    Thanks for any help... :-)

You can use a low-profile servo from HK http://www.unitedhobbies.com/UNITEDH.../_.18sec_/_28g
it would look like this .

Did you test with a standard size servo. With the hatch there's enough place for it. You must use strong arms because of angle

I used steelcable so the angles would be smooth and i tried fitting a standard size servo but it did not fit .

I have S/S pushrods and they have enough flex, I did see that servo on ebay, I think a low profile unit is the way to go but I was hoping to use my original setup..

Oh yeah! I love that setup!
I still have the crank setup fitted and was looking to put the servo in the same place but the full size servo wont fit there as it is now a twin....
This is why I was looking to fit the HS81MG.....

Why all these difficult setups, if the simple and very cheap servo that Michiel (focused) mentioned works fine ??
I used that one in my HOTR cat to, very cheap and 100% functional for this job.

I agree GB, One reason is that I will be left with very little space if I want to put my GPS in.

Like I said earlier, I think the servo focused put up is the way to go but I would still like to have a little room.....
