See this is what happens when you have had ENOUGH. I scuffed the seprations, preped it & noticed some tape glue in the white area on the bow. So I tryed to peal it off. No good. I used some nail polish remover on it. Well than just made it bind to the paint and create puddy. So I bust out the sander..That just starts mixing it..So I push a little harder an the hull cracks down the freeboard on both sides.... Then I stomped the s_ _ t out of it. That was the most satisfaction I got from the entire project so far. Looking for a new hull......

At a race a guy squashed a Electro Vee he just raced with a picnic table. Lets just say the table won!!

Jersey, that sucks man. I feel for ya. I ripped a hole in a OM21 boat I was gonna build. Got so pissed I sold it......cheap.

Got the boat today. It's a thin flexable flyer just as i suspected. perfect for what I intend to do with it. My new EP1 will be here by the weekend. I will have it finished for Sunday. Look for the mod pictures Saturday night.

Ok so I got some stuff done today. I gutted it this morning. Filled all the screw holes with epoxy. Then this evening I slapped a gill bracket together. Nothing fancy as you can see. It wound up being slighly off center but it won't matter. It's wide enough to still center the OB. I put a set of Sv tabs on it to extend the hull a bit. I thought it would be a good idea because of the extra weight hanging off the back. Then I busted out the 24 hour devcon. I coated the better part of the stern with it. I needed to not only seal the holes but stiffen it up a little more. Tomorrow I am going to stiffin up a section of the tunnel in order to mount the electronics batteries and so on. I'll hang the OB also. I should be able to test it monday after work.

Ok well I got some free time tonight and was able to knock this boat out. All I have left is the catch rig. The proboat esc is mounted on a plastic box I found for the rx. The tunnel has a sheet of lexan across it. I needed to stiffen it up & a level area to mount the internals. I installed the orion 21x2 v2 motor in the ep1. I used 3mm bullets for the motor and made my own parallel deans 2 into 1 connector. Sorry for the quality of the pictures. MrsSjfe took her camera out tonight...the nerv. I will try and get a test in tomorrow or monday.

Thanks fellas:) . I'm going to paint that gill bracket tonight. Just gota figure out what I'm doin for a push rig now & get it built. I'll have it in the water this evening. It will hold me over until proboat relieces the apache. Then I'll bolt this outboard on the back of that.

They have a litte 24x9 abs brushed cat in rtr trim due out in October. 139 bucks & its the size hull withthe amount offreeboard I was looking for. I just couldent wait on it so I built this.

I agree 2 OB's would have been neet. When I do build a scale offshore cat it will have twin OB's or IO's. That project it way way down the road..but planned.
