Cool I am looking foward to seeing the paint. I use US Composites. The key is in the slury I apply to start off with. A mix of Cab-o-seal, Milled CF, Milled FG and chopped CF. Cure time of 7 days make it stronger too.Originally posted by Jeepers View Postits the one that ran at the Nats but my builds are not done until they are painted! plus I am making some changes to the motor placement!
sweet cant tell I get my cowl thanks Randy!
Hey Randy what kind of epoxy do you use to lay up your hulls, this stuff is like armor plating!!

Well I have been a bit lazy at posting my build. but it is complete and I tested it today.
It works well for my first outrigger, power system consists of a SV27 motor though I may switch to a UL1, hydra 120, and x2 Hyperion G3 7.4v 4200mah, I started big with the prop and stuck a m645 on it. I plugged everything in did a radio check taped it up and tossed it in the water, it floats
and yanked on the trigger, I was surprised as the boat leaped out of the water and shot off across the lake, this boat has a ton of power, no wonder people like outriggers! handling was good and turns great even with 20-30mph winds and ROUGH water, made a few laps and returned to shore to check temps ICE COLD not surprising the water was FREEZING! and she was bone dry inside. overall I am impressed with this boat and cant wait to get more tuning time on it but now its time to paint it! I will be posting a video of its maiden voyage soon!
