So is the 5" a good choice would the dual 3.5" be better suited?

Still need to do some body work. I test painted the hatch and rudders and am pleased with the results (2 primer coats, 2 base coats of dark blue, and 2 coats of metallic blue) and . Unfortunately, I did not seal the wood before priming it - is there a problem with that? It is just a fun, play boat so it isn't supposed to be a show stopper.
I took it out for a "test drive" a few days ago and it works great! But I don't think I want to use the Mystery ESC (Pentium 100A). I puffed a cheap 3S lipo when the battery ran down and I would like it to have reverse. I also want to run it with a 4S lipo.
Any suggestions?

Remember, I will usually be running on snow and ice.Originally posted by yurkanip View PostI really doubt you will need anything over even 80a, considering it is an airboat. not nearly the drag that a prop drive hull produces in drawing amps. There is a fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."
