Hey guys, no doubt the wood boats are beautiful, especially if you leave some natural wood areas on it. I just don't have the time and the inclination to build. I would rather race so getting the boat setup and ready to go quickly is more of my goal. I admire those of you who do build. 'back in the day' I built countless airplanes from scratch and kits....before the day of the ARF. But today's ARF's are built better in most cases than most people and build and at a much lower cost. Somebody on here made an insulting remark that these aren't RTR's! Grrrr. Nobody said they are!
If anyone hears that the FG hull is ready, please post it!
Thanks for indulging my little tirade!

Yep, I know it well. I used to live in Kansas, Oklahoma, and Germany. Definite 'building seasons". But I moved to Florida 29 years ago and we race/fly/run year 'round. So emphasis here is on performance, not building.
Not trying to rub it in, but it's actually been really cold this winter here in Tampa also! But a sweater and a jacket and we're out runnin!
Stay warm!!

PM Obrien. He lives over that way and may know of something. I know there is an RV resort in Bradenton with a great lake but don't know much about Largo/St.Pete/Clearwater area.

We have done a couple of builds with the prototypes. So I am going to start a build thread on the New "Soaring Stuff" 1/6 P-Limted Crackerbox Hull.
