    OK, been watching ebay for carbon and kevlar scraps. From what I can see, most of it is 5oz or heavier. When I was working on light layups, I was trying to use multiple layers of light kevlar and carbon vs a heavier cloth. the layup was much stiffer this way, but I am having trouble finding light carbon. In the attached picutre is two fabrics that I have or have used. The carbon kevlar is about 5.5 oz and is 25% carbon in one direction, nice stuff. I have plenty of this.

    The kevlar I believe is a 1.8 oz fabric. This was really nice stuff from Fibreglast. Anybody have any luck buying carbon in something around 2oz weight?

      The 2.4oz is some very expensive stuff but here you go.

          OUCH!!!!!

          Well, I guess I will keep on looking

          US composites has the 1.8oz kevlar for $28.50 per yd, 5 oz is $16.50
