I'm a little lost on how the cooling system works on this one-- I see the pickup sending water into the stuffing tube, then what? Also, what seals the top of the tube to keep the water from leaking into the hull?

There is a enclosed chamber around the stuffing tube to keep the epoxy from melting in the hull. The water comes out the center hole threw a fuel line to the motor or ESC . The last tube sticking up is a oilier feed for the flex shaft.

Thanks I built this boat with yours and I am just getting it painted. I also changed the shape a little to make it tape easier.

I took off the sharp corner and filled with bondo to make a rolled edge.

I saw you had done it in a littlespot on each side and decided to run it all the way. on my new twin that is the way it is done.
I am going to run it this Sunday. we will see how it goes.

Sorry I have not gotten back to you sooner I have been real busy and I just do not have the energy I had 40 years ago. It turned out great but the water was so hot the lines kept coming off. I had to put a barbs on the brass tubing, glue the lines and zip tie them. By the time I had it running good the race was over. I might take it to the pond and test this weekend.
