I hope that I didn't spend money on a pair of bad battieries. The box they came in said they are ROHS compliant and that already scares the crap out of me. I don't need any tin wiskers growing in my batteries!

i will have to agree with wolf, i remember those blue, and those purple lipos from hobbyking, after 4 flights they went in the trash, but now things have changed, they have good reliable lipos, and with your setup, you will never need more than 150 amps, which isnt a big deal for the batteries to give, its not about the money, its about beeing able with the same amount of money to buy 2 more packs

That is good to hear , tired of paying top dollar for mid grade crap . I definetly will try Turnigy cells for my Sniper next

Its up to you... I have over 3400.00 $ in lipos and started exsperamenting w/ the turnigy's.. Love them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My set up is running at 200 amps consistant per side in the upper 60 's the entire run!

it just doesnt seem right to have one of the best hulls with some of the best gear then Chinese lipo's i do have some Chinese lipo's for some of my lower powered set ups but will they last 50 runs at 100 amps maybe 150? i don't know what my motors are going to pull... the polyquest lipos are about $250 each so i could get 2 from china for the price

heh i will be saving 600 grams if i get the polyquest lipos

Just ran the 4's 5000 mah 40-50c's this morning and they went out pre-heayed at 110 deg. And came in at 110 deg!!! They are amazing!!!!!!!! There is absolutely (no ) need to waste your money on name brand batteries when tunigy 's perform better than my poly quest set's!!

I just recieved two Turnigy 6S 5000mah 40-50C batts from Hobby King. They sure look big. Hull is still at the painters so I am not sure how the fit is yet. I figured I would try the Turningy batteries and if they don't work so great, I will get higher quality batteries. I think I paid about 90 bucks a pop for them.

about to order my battery's, would PolyQuesr 5000 XQ 6S 22.2V 5000 (constant) 150.0A (burst) 300.0A be suitable was going to get hyperion g3's but too many mixed opinions.

You know the dimensions of the block, 24mm X25 mm
For the middle hole, on the horizontal, 5mm space, on the vertical 4.5mm
The big hole has 15mm diameter
The 4 small holes have a diameter of 2,5mm (3mm screw)
Vertically the distance of the extremity and the center of the small holes is 4,5mm
Horizontally the distance of the extremity and the center of the small holes is 3.9mm

You can do it the easy way, paper tape
And you draw the wholes with a pen or pencil, and then you take the tape of and apply it on the hull.

i new it didn't look right, have to re-draw the whole things thanks to my best friend Vista also any ideas on getting it 1:1 scale with the measurements i put on it?

yes i do but id say 2cm max... its because ive heard of them breaking through the boxes at front... at least i know if i got running into another boat's side at 100mph ill come off better

Do you have epoxy in front of the sponsons? Mine looks quite a lot; I have at least 3, 4 cm of epoxy in front. Good for minor shock, but in case of a hard crash, I don’t know if it may do more damage.
